HEAD 2022 SPEED PRO

New for 2022 is the updated Speed line of racquets; this time with Auxetic construction within the racquet's bridge. Auxetic changes the feeling you receive upon ball contact resulting in a fantastic impact feel. In addition, Graphene is still part of the mix in the new Speed to increase the stability of the overall frame as well as to increase ball speed. Power Grommets are included to allow for more string movement and power. All of this adds up to making a racquet more playable for a wider array of players. Even though the Pro features a 18x20 dense string pattern to create a max control feel, the 100 sq inch headsize and slightly thicker frame design makes this a very approachable frame. Final Thought: This Speed is made for intermediate/advance players who like a dense string pattern. If you want control but prefer a frame that allows you to do a lot with it, the Speed family is a nice middle ground in terms of racquet design.
